UNpACkiNG yOUR iCE MAkER
REMOvE pACkAGiNG
Your ice maker has been packed for shipment with all parts that could be damaged by movement securely fastened. Before
using, be sure all packing materials and tape have been removed.
iMpORTANT
Keep your carton packaging until your ice maker has been thoroughly inspected and found to be in good condi-
tion. If there is damage, the packaging will be needed as proof of damage in transit.
NOTE: Inspect the product to verify that there is no shipping damage. If any damage is detected, call the shipper and initiate
a damage claim. DCS by Fisher & Paykel is not responsible for shipping damage.
DO NOT discard any packing material (box, pallet, straps) until the unit has been inspected.

You need to have the
following materials for
proper installation: 1/4” OD copper tubing,
shut-off valve and 5/8” ID rubber drain tube
Water supply: 1/4” OD copper tubing (subject to local codes), 20-100 PSI. For water connection, allow 2”
behind the unit.
Drain: 5/8” ID rubber tube (subject to local codes). Unit must drain into a 1-1/2” ID minimum stand
pipe.
